What are you waiting for? The time is NOW for you to step forward in your individual beautiful and brilliant light. I’m not asking you to leap, or even to dive in. I’m asking you to start stepping into your light – one small step at a time. I am asking you to focus on what you want in your life and the world, rather than focusing on what you don’t want. I’m asking you to be brave and courageous and believe that you deserve a life filled with love and meaning.
Moving forward, I encourage you to move forward by:
Believing in yourself. It won’t happen overnight, but the more you begin to focus on what you love about yourself rather than what you don’t like, you will shift into believing in yourself.
Creating positive I Am statements. How often do you catch yourself saying things like – ‘I am stupid,’ I am late,’ ‘I am broke,’ ‘I am lonely,’ or any phrase filled with heavy energy? The words I AM are very powerful, so create a list of I AM statements that are empowering. ‘I am worthy of great love,’ I am worthy of meaningful work,’ ‘I am____.’
Thanking fear when it shows up and releasing it. Just like most things we want, it requires practice. Start strengthening your positivity muscles until your muscle memory is of empowering statements rather than disempowering ones. Fear isn’t going to go away, but it will lessen its hold on you the more you practice. When the ‘I don’t want this’ feelings come up, honor them, thank them, and then reach for a better feeling thought toward what you do want.
Being gentle with yourself as you move forward. Life is a journey and not a sprint.
Mostly, I ask that you move forward at your pace, not the pace others expect. To see perceived failures as openings to do things differently. To develop your worthiness muscles that you deserve great happiness. To be so fully comfortable with you in our yown skin, you will be comfortable to allow others to walk their journey how they see fit.
Until next time, this very moment is the time to move forward… step by step, arm in arm.
I am ready, willing, and able to live my life with deeper excitement, enthusiasm, and love.
