For me personally, it depends on how vested I am. When it’s something I’m passionate about, something I wake up thinking about, something I can’t imagine not doing, I go for it regardless of the unknowing final results. I feel more confident walking in uncharted waters more than swimming in a pool I’ve swam in and have experienced disappointment. It seems easier to start fresh rather than retrying something that didn’t work before. When we begin to realize that every day is new and fresh we can face any odds knowing that greater love, laughter, and happiness await on the other side of fear.
When I think about odds, I find that often we focus on the negative aspects. It has been said that 50% of marriages end in divorce. Well that means 50% of them don’t, yet we discuss it as a failure as you don’t hear people saying 50% of marriages stay together. Baseball players are applauded for hitting over .300 which means they are getting hits 1/3 of the time….good odds? When we receive a poor health prognosis we forget to focus on the percentage (even if it’s a small number) that did beat the odds. Odds are just that odds, they aren’t definitive, absolute, or even always right. They are a tool to help maneuver through a situation with a generalization of prior success…or failure.
You may not be able to change the odds in every situation, however, I promise you that if you choose to focus on deeper love, laughter, and happiness you will certainly make them better.
For the next week I invite you LIVE AND LOVE BIGGER regardless of the odds by:
Following your heart on how you want to live your life regardless if others disagree with your choices as that is their fear talking not yours.
Dreaming daily on how life can be even better than today with the most loving relationships, meaningful work, great health, and ideal prosperity.
Mostly, my wish for you is to realize regardless if the odds seem to be against you, or they are for you and you are sitting in fear…YOU deserve to live a life filled with great love, great happiness, and great experiences. Why? Because you matter!
Until next time, I am betting on you!

“Eighty percent of all choices are based on fear. Most people don’t choose what they want; they choose what they think is safe.”
~ Dr. Phil
“Think of success as a game of chance in which you have control over the odds. As you begin to master concepts in personal achievement, you are increasing your odds of achieving success.”
