March 8th is the day we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of WOMEN.
Whether you are a woman or are celebrating the women in your life, I honor you, I admire you, and I wish each day moving forward you stand tall in your truth of who you are.
Embrace who you are as you are. You don’t have to be or do anything else to deserve kindness, respect, compassion, and love.
Embrace your fears, your inadequacies, your feelings of less than and hold them as you would a hurt child. Comfort them. Tell them it will be okay. Let them be felt and let them be heard.
Embrace those who have hurt you by remember hurt people hurt others. Bring a little compassion to yourself and them for the pain they are suffering and the pain they brought to your life. You do not have to continue a relationship with them, or you can distance yourself from them, but as you embrace them… you ultimately embrace yourself.
Mostly, my wish for you today and everyday is to embrace all of you – your strengths, your weaknesses, your heart, your passion, your fears, your feelings of unworthiness as all of it makes up the extraordinary woman you are! Be the champion you are!
For the women you love:
Embrace them. Hold them to heighten their celebrations and lessen their sorrows.
Listen to them. Sometimes listening without solving is all that is needed in the moment. Let them feel heard.
Celebrate them. They are your grandmother, your mother, your wife, your sister, your daughter, your aunt, your colleague, or your friend. Each woman you know is that for someone, see that in them.
Mostly, my wish for you is to be their champion. See them. Hear them. Cherish them. Love them. The more you lift up those you love, the more they will be the person you see in them.
Until next time – I see you, I hear you, you matter.
I am a beautiful, kind, and loving person.
