Are you familiar with the brand LIFE IS GOOD? I’ve known of the brand for many years and love it. However, I didn’t know the story behind the brand and now I love them even more.
My friend Jim just sent this Tedx talk from one of the owner’s Bert Jacobs. He and his brother followed their passion, made mistakes along the way and yet continued on and have become a huge success. They focus on what is right with their lives rather than what was wrong with it. They focus on following their passion.
I encourage you to watch his video to inspire you to focus on the opportunities in your life rather than the obstacles.
Although I’ve not reached the financial success they have, I do follow my passion, make mistakes along the way and continue on doing what I love – reminding you to embrace life as by doing so it heightens celebrations and lessens sorrows. Perhaps one day you’ll see me doing a Ted talk on the power of hugs. 🙂
Moving forward, I invite you to do what you like by:
Do something you love each day. It’s nice if your job is what you are passionate about and you are doing something daily you love. However, many people aren’t in that situation, but you too can still do something daily you love. It can big or small, just make sure it’s something that makes you excited to be alive.
Helping others love life. Share a smile, a kind word, an act of service. Little things make big differences, especially to someone in need. Your little gesture of kindness might be huge in someone else’s world and be just what they need to fall in love with life.
Living gratitude. It’s so easy to be grateful when things are going well in our lives, and yet we can still take it for granted. Get into a deep space of gratitude and appreciation from the comfy bed you woke up in, breathing on your own, people in your life you love, to the fact you are part of this great big gloriously messy world.
Mostly, my wish for you is to connect with your passion for being full out 100% YOU! You deserve to live a life filled with passion, positivity, possibility, and purpose.
Until next time – Life is not only good, it’s great!
My life is good and getting better!
