loving what is

I can’t wait until I have my dream job? I will be so happy when I have an amazing relationship. I know I will love my life when I’m living in a better home. If I only had more money, then life would be great. We often live life in the past and future and miss a great opportunity to LOVE WHAT IS. We’re wishing we hadn’t done or said something (past) or we’re putting off happiness until that person, job, or situation unfolds (future) for happiness.
Loving what is, is loving in the moment. It is being grateful for the past regardless if it was good or bad as it’s brought you to today. It is being excited about the future as knowing in this current moment you are creating your tomorrows, so loving what is becomes an even bigger game changer. Mostly, loving what is, is being present with how you feel happy/sad, brave/scared, kind/fearful as it’s in the awareness of your thoughts that you take control of them rather than them controlling you.

For the next week, I invite you to love what is by:

Being gentle with yourself. We are often our worst critics, so begin to speak to yourself as your best friend who loves and adores you. Send love rather than judgment on your perceived flaws.

Being gentle with others and not taking their stories personally as they walk their journey. Send love rather than judgment when faced with adversity.

Mostly, my wish is for you to see every day as a special occasion to love deeper, smile bigger, laugh harder, and live full out. Love the moments which turn into minutes, which turn into hours, which turn into days, which turn into weeks, which turn into months, which turn into years, and on and on and on.

Until next time, loving the journey makes the destination the icing on a gorgeously lived life.
