living the dream

Are you LIVING the dream? Are you living? Or are you simply alive? I was thinking about the differences between being alive and living the last few days and it got me thinking. To me, being alive is waking up, breathing, going to bed and starting it all over again. To live, that is to truly live, is waking up, breathing in love, laughter, beauty, happiness, health and setting the intention to go through your day eyes wide open to take it all in. Living is awareness for how you feel – the happy loving feelings and even the sad fearful ones. Living is seeing the people you walk by on the sidewalk as you understand that they too want love, happiness, health, and a feeling of safety.

I dream of living in a state of loving more than fearing, happy more than sad, healthy more than ill, abundant more than lacking, and grateful more than judgmental. That is living the dream to me. Now, that doesn’t mean I don’t want and strive for living my passion of serving millions of people to live their best life while I live mine; having an amazing romantic relationship with the man of my dreams; working with Oprah, having a beautiful home overlooking the city and water, or that cute yellow sports car I have my eye on. Those are the icing on the cake to me on living the dream of loving big, and then loving a little bigger. As when I live and love full out, life meets me there.

I invite you to live the dream by:

Loving bigger today. Love YOU, love others, and love the world. Focus on what you love rather than what you are afraid of.

Appreciating the littlest things in your life that make you smile as through appreciation love grows.

Being YOU full out, unabashedly you.

Mostly, my wish for you is to truly LIVE with deeper love, laughter, and happiness.

Until next time, here’s to living the dream.

Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
~ Steve Jobs
