As I looked for quotes to support this weeks message, I found one that IS this weeks message by Colin Powell:

A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.”

If you know me and/or have been reading my weekly blogs, you know that ‘hard work’ isn’t usually in my vocabulary, but this quote got me thinking. So let me share what this quote means to me rather than how Mr. Powell most likely meant it.

Life is magical to me when I focus on gratitude and love. Magic occurs when I step away from fear and self doubt or when I remember that everything always in all ways works out for my highest good. When I stand in my truth of I am worthy of great love, laughter, health, abundance and all things good, the world IS magical. For me, the sweat, determination, and hard work is staying in a space of worthiness. We all have our own issues of self worth, mine are more than some and less than others. However and wherever your self doubt shows up, please know it only slows down your dreams, it doesn’t stop them.

Seven years ago on May 16th, I held my first Positive Focus event showing the movie The Secret in my home. My big girl self says I’ve accomplished a lot in those seven years and have been living my dream of having a positive impact on the world. My little girl self says I haven’t done enough as there is still a lot of global fear focus and I should be living my biggest dreams of Positive Focus being a fully funded organization, I’d be in the relationship of my dreams, financially secure, living in the home of my dreams, while getting paid well to shine light on millions to live their dreams full out. Most days I live somewhere in between the big and little girl and thankfully on the tipping point of living my big girl dreams. Every day I do embrace my fear as I sweat and work hard with determination to believe in my worthiness of living my purpose of why I’m here. I love my life and it could even be better. That is my truth, that is my passion, that is my love, and yes – that is my fear.

For the next week, I invite you to stand in your worthiness and live your dream life by:

Being gentle with your fears and celebrating your strength as dimming your light doesn’t serve you and certainly doesn’t light the way for others.

Loving yourself and others knowing we are all doing our best in the moment.

Surrounding yourself with people (I call them my tribe) that hold you high when little you shows up as they remind you of your dreams and truth.

Mostly, my wish is for you to realize you are 1 in 7 billion and the world not only wants you to shine, it shines brighter because of YOU!

Until next time, meet me in my magical dreams as YOU deserve it as does the world.

“Reality is never as bad as a nightmare, as the mental tortures we inflict on ourselves.”
~ Sammy Davis Jr.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
~ Walt Disney

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
~ Harriet Tubman
