If you leave here knowing only one thing – positivity doesn’t equal easy, then you’ve left empowered.
So what is positivity?
Positivity is gratitude and appreciation for where you were, where you are, and where you are going.
Positivity is kindness and compassion to you, others and the world.
Positivity heightens celebrations and lessens shortcomings.
Positivity is seeing the perfection in the imperfection.
Positivity is reframing what you don’t want in your life into a statement on what you do want.
Positivity is looking for the needle in the haystack, seeing the rainbow after the rain, and knowing that the sun still shines behind the clouds.
Positivity is about being aware of what you think, say and do and how it makes you feel.
Positivity is about showing up as your best self and being gentle when you didn’t.
Ask yourself which feels better? I hate war! I love peace!
What Positivity is not:
Positivity is not about right or wrong, good or bad but rather about choices and sequences that follow those choices.
I too have moments where I’m sad, frustrated, angry or fearful, but through laser awareness of my thoughts, words and actions, I redirect myself to a better feeling place.
